Why we are hiring in Manila
Averon Analytics is opening a small delivery hub in Metro Manila to support the third-party governance side of our practice. Our consultants in India and Europe run the client relationships; the Manila team does the verification work that sits underneath them — chasing supplier documents, checking them against public registries, and keeping the vendor register in a state where an auditor can follow it.
This is a documentation role, not a call-centre role and not a technical one. There is no queue, no dialler and no coding. The work is reading documents carefully, recording what you found, and flagging what does not add up.
A typical week
- Send and follow up on document requests to a client’s suppliers: business registration, tax registration, licences, insurance certificates, bank details, signed policy acknowledgements.
- Check what comes back against the public source — SEC or DTI records, BIR registration, PhilGEPS listings, and the equivalent registers in the client’s own market.
- Record each supplier in the vendor register: legal name, identifiers, ownership, expiry dates on licences and insurance, and the risk tier the methodology assigns.
- Screen names against the sanctions and adverse-media lists the client subscribes to, and write up anything that needs a second opinion.
- Track expiring documents and open the renewal request before the certificate lapses, not after.
- Prepare the weekly onboarding summary for the reviewer: what cleared, what is waiting on the supplier, what has an unresolved flag.
Who this suits
Most people who do well here have spent a year or two in back-office, admin, procurement support, document processing or verification work — often inside a BPO or shared-services team. If you have been doing that on a night schedule and want daytime hours with the same kind of detail work, this is a direct move across.
- 1–3 years in an administrative, document-handling, procurement-support or verification role.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, office administration, legal management or a related field.
- Working Excel or Google Sheets — filters, lookups, tidy trackers. You do not need macros or scripting.
- Professional written English: you will be emailing suppliers on a client’s behalf and writing short review notes.
- Patience with people who do not reply the first time, and the discipline to record what you did rather than keep it in your head.
- A stable internet connection of at least 20 Mbps for the remote days. We provide the laptop.
Useful, not required: exposure to KYC, AML or supplier-onboarding checks; experience with a procurement or GRC platform; familiarity with Philippine business registration documents.
How the role is set up
- You report to a Third-Party Governance Reviewer who checks your files before they go to the client.
- You work from a written verification standard — what counts as an acceptable document, what has to be escalated, how each field in the register is filled in.
- First three weeks are structured onboarding on the methodology and the registers, with your files double-checked before release.
- Hybrid: two days a week in our Makati co-working office once the hub opens, the rest of the week remote. Candidates outside Metro Manila can work remotely within the Philippines and travel in quarterly, with travel paid.
Compensation and benefits
- ₱28,000–38,000 per month, gross, depending on experience, reviewed once a year.
- 13th month pay, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions as required by law.
- HMO coverage for you from regularisation, with one dependant added after twelve months.
- Company laptop and a monthly internet allowance for the remote days.
- Support for one accredited qualification per year after probation, including examination fees and study leave.
How we hire
Application form, then a 20–30 minute introductory call, then a short document-review exercise (about an hour, on a sample supplier file), then a conversation with the practice lead about the exercise and terms. Two to three weeks end to end.
Shortlisted candidates hear from us within seven working days of applying. If you have not heard from us in that window, your application has not been taken forward for this round.
Averon Analytics never charges candidates a fee — not for applications, assessments, onboarding, background checks, equipment or placement. We will never ask you to send money or to buy anything as part of our hiring process. Requests for documents are limited to standard employment verification after an offer is made.
