Where this role sits
Assurance is the part of the practice that goes back and checks whether the systems we installed are still being operated. The Coordinator is the person who makes that happen on schedule — the cycles do not run themselves, and findings do not close themselves.
You sit between the client contacts who owe evidence and the reviewers who sign the report. The role is remote within India, with quarterly travel for site visits and team sessions, funded by the practice.
Running an audit cycle
- Build and maintain the annual assurance calendar across client engagements, including scope, timing and resourcing.
- Coordinate fieldwork: request lists, evidence collection, interview scheduling and working-paper completeness.
- Draft findings and management action plans with clear root cause, impact and agreed remediation owner.
- Track open findings to closure, escalating overdue items through the agreed governance route.
- Prepare assurance reporting for client audit committees and internal quality reviews.
- Maintain the working-paper standard and quality checklist used across the team.
Experience we expect
- 2–5 years in internal audit, assurance, quality management or compliance monitoring.
- Experience preparing or reviewing audit working papers and findings.
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, business or a related field; CA inter, CIA or equivalent progress is welcome.
- Strong organisational discipline — you will be holding several cycles and many owners to fixed dates.
- Clear written English for findings that clients accept rather than dispute on wording.
Package
- ₹5.5–7.5 LPA depending on experience, reviewed annually.
- Fully remote within India, with quarterly travel funded by the practice.
